Naming

This convention has only one exception, when TYPO3 is used in a URL, in this case it is to be spelled with lowercase letters: www.typo3.org (external link)

Licensing

Although TYPO3 is licensed under the GNU General Public License? the TYPO3 logo is licensed under Creative Commons Licence?, more precisely the Attribution-No Derivative Works 2.5 Generic? license, which means that the logo can be distributed but not modified.
TYPO3 can be used to create any kind of website but Kasper Skårhøj explicitly requested that TYPO3 should not be used to create websites which are anti-religious, pornographic or whose content violate human rights.
