How Google contextual ads learn your preferences over time
I was playing with some keywords on Google and noticed a very interesting result, after i searched for hosting the contextual ads showed hosting related advertising. A few seconds later i searched for Canada and guess what? The contextual ads were about hosting in Canada! And those were two different searches on Google.
After this result i searched again this time for flowers and the ads were about flowers. If i searched again after London the ads were about flower delivery in London and in the UK.
So Google in time learns your preferences and serves ads based on those even if you searched for a general search term.
